ABB Terra AC Wallbox Configuration Guide

1. Initial charger connection over Bluetooth

  1. Open and log in to the TerraConfig application
  2. Select Connect Charger

  1. Select the device serial number from the list

  1. Enter the device PIN code that is included with the charger manual

 

 

2. Charger configuration

Once you are connected to the charger, you may configure the unit using the TerraConfig app

  1. Select OCPP Server

  1. Select the + button (if http://ocpp.io:80 is already listed, skip to step 10)

  1. Select http://ocpp.io:80

  1. Select Download
  2. Select http://ocpp.io:80 from the list
  3. Select Next
  4. Ensure that Enable external access is enabled
  5. Select Configure
  6. Select OK
  7. Return to Charger Pairing page

 

 

3. Connectivity settings

  1. Select Charger Link
  2. Select the appropriate network (Wi-Fi, 4G, or LAN)

 

3.1 Ethernet

  1. Select LAN
  2. If LAN is successfully connected, the appropriate symbol will be filled in the colour Green

 

3.2 WiFi

  1. Select Wi-Fi
  2. The charger will reboot, and you will be returned to the Charger Pairing page. Select Reconnect and then Charger Link to enter the Wi-Fi credentials
  3. Enter the SSID (also called network name)
    Note: On iOS, the SSID is copied from the Wi-Fi network that the phone is connected to. To use a different network, you will need to connect the phone to the intended Wi-Fi network
  4. Enter the Password
  5. Select Next
  6. Select OK
  7. Return to Charger Pairing page
  8. If Wi-Fi is successfully connected, the appropriate symbol will be filled in the colour Green

 

3.3 4G

  1. Select 4G
  2. The charger will reboot, and you will be returned to the Charger Pairing page. Select Reconnect and then Charger Link to enter the Wi-Fi credentials
  3. Select APN Settings
  4. Enter the appropriate APN based on the guide below

  5. Select Configure
  6. Return to Charger Pairing page
  7. If 4G is successfully connected, the appropriate symbol will be filled in the colour Green

 

 

4. Firmware upgrade

  1. Select Update

  1. Select + button

  1. Select the latest from the list (if there is no entry, your charger is up to date)
  2. Select Download
  3. Select the downloaded package from the list
  4. Select Upload Package
  5. Charger will update and reboot
  6. Return to Charger Pairing page

 

 

5. Add your charger to dashboard
