Finding a Charger
When you need to find a public charger, there are various resources available to assist you.
If a charger is restricted and you do not have access, you will not be able to use the charger. If there are no ChargeLab chargers nearby, use alternative resources such as PlugShare or ChargeHub to find available chargers from other networks.

Finding a charger on the mobile app
Here are a few ways to find a charger using the ChargeLab mobile app:
Open the ChargeLab App: After logging in, you will be directed to the Explore tab, displaying a map of all ChargeLab chargers.
Location Finder: Click the location finder icon on the bottom right-hand side of the screen to automatically scan your location and display nearby chargers. Ensure location settings are enabled on the app.
Manual Search: Zoom in on the map and select a charger. Use the search box to find chargers by charger ID, location name, or city..
Finding a charger on the web app

The ChargeLab web application does not have built-in maps, but you can still check access to a charger through the following methods:
Scan the QR Code: Use the camera on your phone to scan the QR code on the front of the charger. This will take you to the charger page.
Charger URL: If you know the display ID of a charger, type the URL in the browser address bar using the format:
charge.id/[charger name](e.g.,charge.id/AS-32).

Reviewing Charger Details
When you have selected a charger, you can click on the charger for further details:
- Availability
- Connector type
- Charge speed rating
- Pricing schedule
- Directions
- Address
- Restricted or unrestricted
- Site host information
- Support phone number
- Network information
- Link to help centre
Common Issues

Some chargers on the ChargeLab network are restricted, so they can only be accessed by specific users. These are common at workplaces and multi-residential buildings
To get access to a restricted charger, we recommend contacting your employer or property manager; they will be able to have you added to the access list.
In the meantime, you can find another charger here.
- If you are at a charger with a ChargeLab sticker, but it is not visible in the application, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The chargers may not be operational yet. Chargers are added to the application only when they are ready for use.
- Some chargers may be restricted to a specific user group, hence they are not listed on the application.
- If none of these situations apply, we recommend verifying the accuracy of the Charger ID while searching for it.
