What is an RFID card?
RFID stands for Radio-frequency identification.
RFID network cards are most often used for fleet, public network, workplace, or multi-family charging. Our cards also work on any public ChargeLab charger. The ChargeLab RFID network card can be used to authenticate and identify yourself to a charger.
The card is tied to your driver account, and you will be able to monitor and stop the charge session from the mobile app. This also means that you'll be charged for any session started using RFID cards mapped to your account.

Common Issues & Troubleshooting
-
You have not added your RFID to your account. Navigate to your account settings on the web app or mobile app, select RFID cards under My account, and click Activate card. Enter the number you see on the back of your RFID card. You can see more about Setting Up an RFID card here.
-
You have not added a credit card to your account. Add your credit card by clicking Account and navigating to “Payments” under the Activity tab.
-
There is RFID interference. Check that it is just your ChargeLab RFID being tapped. If it is on your keys, ensure any other RFID tags (such as workplace entrance FOBs, gym FOBs, etc.) are not also touching the scanner, or the ChargeLab RFID card.
-
You have removed the card too fast. Ensure that when you're activating a charge using RFID, you are holding it to the charger for 2 seconds.
