Wallbox Charger Commissioning Guide

This page provides instructions for setting up your Wallbox charger with ChargeLab software. After you complete steps 1-5, it is critical that you submit THIS form to register in ChargeLab's system.

1. Confirm Power

  • Check that the charger’s LED ring is illuminated:
    • Solid Green = Ready
    • Pulsing Blue = Connecting via Bluetooth
    • Solid Blue = Connected via Bluetooth
  • If LEDs are off, ensure the breaker is on and the unit is powered.

2. Install Wallbox App & Create Account

  • Download the Wallbox app from the [Google Play Store] or [Apple App Store].
  • Open the app and sign up using your email.
  • After account creation, you'll land on the home screen.

3. Add Your Charger

  • From the home screen, tap the “+” (Add) icon.
  • Use your phone to scan the QR code on the left side of the charger.
    • This automatically fills in the serial number and unique.
  • Select your region or state, then tap “Add”.

4. Connect to Wi-Fi

  • Tap the charger on the home screen to open its detail page.
  • Tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner to access settings.
  • Go to Network → Wi-Fi.
  • Tap “Use Bluetooth” to initiate a Bluetooth pairing.
  • Once paired, select your local Wi-Fi network. The charger will connect.

5. Configure OCPP Settings

  • Tap the charger again to enter settings.
  • Scroll to and select “OCPP.”
    • In the URL field, select “ChargeLab”.
    • If this option does not appear, choose “Custom” and use wss://ocpp.io as the OCPP URL.
  • In the Charge Point Identity field, enter the serial number of the charger.
  • Save and confirm.

6. Claim the Charger

  • Complete this form
  • After you submit the form, you will receive the following within 24 hours:
    • An email confirmation that your dashboard has been set up
    • An invitation to your dashboard for configuration
      • Access your dashboard to manage pricing, access and reports
