Charger Status
When you first log into your dashboard, navigate to the Chargers menu to view all your chargers. Initially, each charger will display a Coming Soon status. This status indicates that while the charger is registered on the dashboard, it has not yet communicated with our system.
To begin managing your charger through our dashboard, you must configure the device to communicate with ChargeLab. Once the configuration is complete and the charger successfully communicates with ChargeLab, its status will update to Available.
For detailed instructions on configuring your charger(s), please refer to the recommended configuration guide here for your specific model and contact us at deployments@chargelab.co.

Pricing Rules
Under the Pricing menu, you can set your pricing rules for each charger. This section allows you to determine how you want to monetize your charging schedule. ChargeLab offers flexible billing options to suit your needs—pricing can vary from charger to charger and even change based on the time of day.
Note: If using a credit card reader/payment terminal, pricing rules would need to be set up on the credit card reader/payment terminal separately. Our system will not update on these devices. Pricing should be updated on the ChargeLab dashboard to reflect identical rules to avoid confusion.
First, select the Pricing menu and create a new pricing rule by clicking on the + Add rule in the top right corner. This will direct you to a new page where you will need to fill out the details for your pricing structure.

Disable Auto-Start
Disabling Auto-Start will prevent the charge will starting upon plugging it in. This needs to be disabled for the Pricing Rule to take effect.
To make sure Auto-Start is disabled, select the charger you would like to update.
- Click on the “...” under Charger details
- The menu will appear and click on Edit charger
- Next, scroll down to Auto-start and confirm that it is Disabled
Access Controls
The Access menu is a feature that enables site hosts to privatize their chargers. You can restrict access to a specific e-mail address, allowing only that user to operate the unit. Alternatively, you can limit access based on an e-mail address domain, so that only a select group of users with that e-mail domain can use the charger. By default, all chargers are set to public.
On the right side click on + Make charger private. This will open up a new menu for you.
Under Chargers you can select which chargers you would like to make private.
Under Add drivers you can add specific e-mail address for individual users. Click Give access to lock in the e-mail address.
Under Add companies you can add an e-mail address domain. Click Give access to lock in the domain.
Note: You can mix both methods if your business has visitors or contractors on site.
Once you have made your selections, the Save button will appear. Click it to finalize making your chargers private.
